Southcenter on Fire!

This is from when we went to Southcenter last Saturday. We bought pretzels and pizza. Afterwards we got frozen yogurt. We walked around the new part like 3 times.

We had a fire and s'mores the other day in our garden.
These are from when dad was pushing air into the fire with a vacuum.
It looked like fireworks.

Wii Sports 2

This is so cool they announced this new thing that hooks onto the wii remote and it measures your movement way more accurately. It is about the same as your movements. So this will be available for many new games stated to release in the near future. One of these games is called Wii Sports Resort some games that it has is Frisbee toss, Lightsaber Fighting, and Water Skiing. Take a look at this video, they demonstrate the game. It looks really cool.

Guitar Hero Blog Updates

So I know that most of you don't know about the Guitar Hero Blog which is really cool because it has updates only about Guitar Hero stuff. They also put tons of videos on there, I love those. So here are a few highlights from the blog. Please check out the blog sometime because I think It is the coolest thing. Oh yeah It also has updates about special deals at Redoctane so don't miss out.

Guitar Hero: World Tour (commonly known as #4)
Here is a demo of the drums for GH4. It's pretty interesting.

This is what the new guitars are going to look like. I've heard that there is going to be a new feature with the new guitars. But I'm not buying any, I'll stick with my old ones that work fine.
This is a close-up of the drum set controls for wii. As you can see the remote will be placed in the drum set and it will be totally wireless. I love it!

Guitar Hero:On Tour
This is a how to for Guitar Hero DS, it's pretty funny. It reminds me of those geiko commercials where someone tells their story and then there's an announcer or singer spicing it up. It's pretty funny.

Guitar Hero

Guitar Hero: On Tour is a touch of fresh air. I was really excited about the whole new concept of GH on the DS. It was hard at first but I got used to it and now love it. It is more of a one-person game and you just play by yourself because you're the only one that can see it although it has multiplayer. I really like it for when I get those urges to play like one song and don't want to turn on the wii or when someone's using the TV or it's really fun in the car or on the go. I love it!

I got Guitar Hero Aerosmith. It is such a fun game. I love having a new GH game to play with because I just realized that I've been playing GH3 for like nine months. That is a long time for one game! This game is cool I really like the new songs that I've never heard of but I'm growing to like them. I also love that you can play pro face off on two different difficulties. That means that you play multiplayer and play all the notes in the whole song but now you can play a different difficulty than your competitor. The characters look a lot like the guitar members. I love this game!

So I got this box in the mail from Redoctane the other day and I was like. "What? I didn't order anything from redoctane." And then there was this faceplate for my guitar in it and I was like "Cool!" So they gave me a free faceplate for getting my Guitar Hero 3 disc replaced and waiting for so long. It looks so cool on my guitar. I love it!

GUITAR HERO!!

GAH!
So my Wii is screwed up because now it is scratching my game discs and now I can't play Guitar Hero 3 anymore because it is so scratched. I'll have to buy a new disc, maybe on Ebay or something. So I'll probably send in my Wii to get fixed and I won't have it for a while. It is so sad because so many new games are coming out soon. I'd better do it soon and they'd better do it fast. So it will be in the Nintendo hospital for a while so here's a memorial for all the popular games that we won't be able to play in the meantime. Please pay your respects.

Well they are so dang exciting!--Um, no. I just don't have anything else to say and you may think "wow Laura you wasted your time looking up a picture of glasses?" So yeah.

Wii

So a while ago I hosted a Wii charity and turns out NONE OF YOU PARTICIPATED!! Well except for Allison and Mike thanks to them now we can play Mario Kart Wii 3 people at a time with the wheels. As for the rest of you I hope you're happy.

On a side note all the other items on the charity list are now unwanted due to unforeseen circumstances. Please donate next time.

Wii Charity

So most of you have heard lately that I am buying a lot of wii games in the next two months. I am planning on getting Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, Guitar Hero: On Tour, Rock Band Wii, and Guitar Hero Aerosmith (look at previous post for details and release dates)These games aren't cheap! And I have heard from many of you requests for extra accessories that I should get to enhance game play on these new releases. If anyone wants to see any of these items in my plethora of Wii stuff I am accepting donations. Note that if any donations are made there is a guarantee. If you buy something then you benefit directly by way of more frequent game play.

Wii Wheel
Mario Kart Wii comes with one Wii wheel but unfortunately the second wheel will cost you. So if anyone wants to play with me I suggest this accessory at the very top of the list. The list is mostly for this one item because it's so important. And we can play up to 4 people so if we don't have 4 then some people are going to be left out.
Gamestop: $15.00

Wii Fit Rechargeable Battery
As many of you know Wiifit comes with a balance board which runs off batteries. If you are the person buying the batteries for our family, not to point any fingers (mom), then maybe this would be a good idea for saving money on batteries. This one isn't that important it's at the bottom of the list. Not critical but would be nice.
Gamestop: $19.00

Rock Band Drum Silencer
This one isn't that important either, it's just if anyone hates the loud noise I'm going to make all the time playing the drums on Rock Band then I suggest this to solve all your problems.
Gamestop: $19.99

Rock Band Microphone
I'm not really sure about this one. I am buying the drum set and the Rock Band game, not the Bundle which comes with an extra guitar and microphone. The microphone is just a USB microphone and ones that we already have might work or just a generic one or maybe they'll come out with one specially for it. So when I get it we'll try it out and check out how it works. But for now I don't have one in mind and it's not my high priority to spend money on because I don't sing very much. So if you love to sing on Rock Band keep this in the back of your mind.

Zoo

So here's the pictures from the Zoo although most of you have already seen them on Facebook. Thanks to Beth they look nice because I used the Photoshop Express thing she suggested. It's really cool.

School

So here's some random pictures from school today. They are pretty interesting.

Steven playing cards while we waited in the Car for about an hour for Preston to take his test. We got in the car and waited for about ten minutes then called Anna and she told us that Preston was talking a test but we didn't want to get out of the car so we just sat there for a long time. And then we got into the whole warhead thing.

This is Melinda's Warhead face. We ate a ton of Warheads in the car. Preston ate 4 all at once, Steven ate 5, and Melinda ate 6. She is the champion, until tomorrow when I get more warheads. Maybe we should come up with a medal or trophy to pass from winner to winner when someone gets a higher score. It would be funny. I also have some movies of people eating warheads so if you want to see them just track me down, gag me, tie me to a chair and I might show them to you.

Anna and Preston on the computers in the library. Oh yeah and Stephen Hogg in the background.

Steven and Frances Alger playing chess in the tech center. At first they both thought the other would beat them but Frances annihilated Steven by beating him about 5 or 6 times in 20 minutes. It was fun to watch, haha! Oh yeah, and I had to Photoshop out Brittany because she wouldn't move out of the middle of the picture.

WOW! Brittany is doing math! She looks pretty happy, I'm gonna start spreading rumors that she really likes math. Oh yeah, Brittany, Melinda, and Steven had a test in math102 today so they were studying like crazy people.

Blah explained

So from your comments this is what I got that you want to hear about.

China
So here's the whole story about the China thing. Shannon was looking at Disney world on the computer and she was like "Emily's going to Disney world" then I said "Lets go to China!" Then they were like "CHINA!?" Then we packed their suitcases to go to China the next day. Then later they were being mean and I was like "YOU'RE BEING MEAN, WE'RE NOT GOING TO CHINA!" then they were like "WE'RE GOING TO CHINA" and we had a yelling fight for like 5 minutes about whether we were going to China or not. Then everyday since then I come home and they're like "Where did you go?" and I'm like "I went to China!" Then they get all excited about China again. Then Mom was getting sick of it and so she was like "We're going to Mexico because were are going to the Mexican restaurant after Christina's basketball game on thursday" So now we're going to Mexico instead of China.

Seminary
So I said that seminary has been more boring lately. The fact that not many people have been coming lately has had a big impact. Steven had his foot done so he hasn't been there all week and Brittany has been skipping a few days because we have no school. Most of the time I am the only one on time so I have to sing the song by myself. I find myself very bored lately.

Job Interview
Actually my job interview is on thursday. I am going to a place that does CAD stuff. They are going to teach me a lot and maybe pay for college. So that's what I am doing thursday morning.

School
I got a 4.0 In my Statistics, Archery, and Computer Music classes. I only got a 3.8 in Astronomy. I almost got 4.0 in all my classes. Next quarter I am taking Physics 101, English 223, and Digital Photography. It should be fun.

Rock Band
WHOO!! Josh got Rock Band for PS2. It is so fun. I can already play medium on drums and his new wireless guitar is cool. It doesn't have as many good songs as GH3 but I like that you can play with 4 people and do drums and singing is kinda fun too. If I played by myself I would prefer GH3 but with a lot of people I would go for Rock Band. It is an exciting thing to do on my week off.

Blah

Well not much has been happening lately and It's kinda weird to just talk about myself. I don't have anyone else to talk about like kids or whatever. My friends are fun and exciting but if I try to explain it then it sounds lame. Here are some things that have happened lately or that I'm interested in. If you want to hear me talk about something on this list just say so.

LDS Prom
LDS Employment Services Seminar
Playing Rock Band/ Guitar Hero
Upcoming Video Games I'm excited about
Been watching lots of movies lately
No school this week, pretty boring
Job interview on Friday
I'm going to China
Seminary is becoming less interesting
Trying to get Brittany to come over then doing basically nothing
Enjoying my new phone
Mom trying to get me to have more parties and spend more time with my friends
New School starting
Grades from last semester.

Wow that's actually a big list. So If you want to hear anything just comment. So, uh.....yeah.

Tolo

So I forgot that I didn't put up tolo pictures. It was really fun, we made pizza, played games, and went in Munk's hot tub. Here they are even though most of you have already seen them on Facebook.

We made a mickey pizza, it was so good. The crust was really thick tho.

Anna and Preston's fish pizza.
